The heart was opened,

The key was a kiss,

The mind it fell in line,

Cupid's arrow,

Did not miss,

It was only a matter of time....

The Sun it rose,

To grace the sky,

To warm the day,

That produces a smile,

It touched the rooftops,

Kissed the trees and whispered,

To the world as people walked by,

As one walked on a chosen path,

Along on one's way,

Beneath the hush of the morning's rush,

Singing a tune to a rhythmic beat as the feet lead the way,

Each breath carries the words of the song carried

on the breeze in soften tones,

As the footsteps dance on the forgotten stones 

beneath one's feet,

That is where we find ourselves,

In a golden hush,

Not lost,

But gently found,

A soul who is at peace..............

Echo's Upon A Path

Echo's heard upon a path,

Voice of the past,

Carried by the wind,

Travelled so far,

Awakened my soul,

Capturing attention,

With curiosity,

As walls tumbled down.........

A Robin flew to a tree on my path,

This was fate,

It was meant to be,

He sang a song,

In his merry way,

Only a few will understand his words,

This brought joy,

In so many ways,

For as he flew away,

A smile was born,

As I knew I would see him again,

On another path,

Trusting in inner strength,

Strength to pass the test,

That is where to rest a burdened head,

To take some time,

Until the new dawn,

A Rainy Day

To walk on a path on a rainy day,

Path was still there after the storm had

passed this way,

It led to a rainbow,

Under the arch,

On the path,

Did not stray,

Now the sun is shining,

One is well on one's way......

One tried to feel,

The rhythm had slowed it's beat,

To feel it still,

It was unreal,

This was not meant to be,

For it felt as if life was on pause,

As the seconds fell through the hands,

To feel the warming glow, 

The sun was rising slow,

A day had passed,

The new is starting,

Forward one must go,

Their happiness is important,

But yours is too,

A step at a time you must go,

In the present moment that you know,

In life we find times when we pause,

It's all about choice,

Tale of Sadness 

Sorrow running through my veins,
I need to a way to control the pain,
Hurting to the core,
You don’t love me anymore,
Expecting what was has been and gone,
Not quite sure what went wrong,
Hard to understand now where I belong,
Crimson eyes behind the tides,
As I try and analysis,
What to do,
What to say, 
 Do I stay to face the pain?
Or do I just run away,
A decision for another day,
Learning to face the facts,
Managing to stay intact,

Joining the other lost souls with their woes and regrets,
Sad faces look upon as I glide by,
Afraid to speak out help, because of my manly pride,
No friend close can I trust, afraid to show my weakness,
Facing my darkness alone falling into pieces,
Help, help, help I cry hidden behind my pride,
Down, down, down I go tormented by my Demons,
Ghostly faces, ghostly stares then one stops, he seems to care,
Believe in me and listen and all will be forgiven,
You can talk now and I will listen,
Holy is he, he seems concerned,

Hopefully he can help me to repair.
