The emotions fell,

Like a waterfall,

Diving into a pond,

Where memories stirred,

By the current,

For agitated visions,

Rose from depth,

Of the times and places,

Where one drowns in regret.......

Magic in a Pen to Catch a Readers Eye

The magic comes with a pen in hand,

When emotions transfer upon a page,

When letters join in harmony,

That is where the sentences are made,

To catch a readers eye,

Maybe heartfelt,

Will bring a tear to an eye,

For if a heart string is pulled,

That memory reoccurred,

Of a time and a place,

Maybe even that ex-lovers face,

Or maybe that special one,

That sadly passed away.........

Twists & Turns on Life's Path

Twists and turns,

On life's individual path,

The unexpected and unexplained,

That leaves one listening,

To the thoughts,

Spoken by the internal voice,

Within the brain,

Heart and mind,

In conflict and confusion,

Leads to scribbling and scratching with a pen,

In the darkness of night,

Under a candle light,

Before a new day is born,

Capturing the letters to form the words,

Sentences born,

Lines to be read,

The release of emotions,

In the rawest form,

Tells the story,

From the soul,

Of a carrying vessel.....

In the darkness of night,

One had lost sight,

There was no light,

That is where a path was found,

For trust,

On a path unknown,

Taken with the blind foot steps,

Forward one goes.....

Feelings of Emotions

The feelings of emotions and the need to bleed,

The ink then flows freely to the page,

Scars were left from the trace of the flow,

For that was where the memories of love

departed on the last kiss that one had known.......

From the tears that formed the letters,

Words of emotions,

That fell upon a page,

To tell of the heartache,

That love,

Now just memories to be read,

Songs are made,

From love and sorrow,

To give us hope and faith,

That leads to tomorrow,

But for now,

We must remain in the day,

This present moment,

As we go along on our way,

For that is life,

Experienced in an individual way,

With curve balls and lessons,

We get taught,

When we open that door,

Dawn To Dusk

Paths don't cross in physical time,

That journey between Dawn to Dusk,

Walking through the days,

Alone,

A foot step at a time,

Distance,

Lengthens,

But in the midnight hour,

You're there with me,

Dancing in mind,

Alive and free,

Together,

That is how it's meant to be,

Gone again,

At the break of Dawn,

Leaving me to walk alone,

With the memories,

The ghost of the past,

That only returns,

When I dream,

Oh,

How I treasure those memories,

And what they mean.......

A stone thrown into a pond, 

The splash resonated,

As ripples were born,

From the impact to the shore,

Like a heart beat that sings a song,

That special rhythm,

For a message is born,

Hoping to reach another heart,

That wants to sing along,

For a message can travel far and wide,

Not controlled by distance or time,

It was deja vu,

There was me,

There was you,

We had been here before,

Meeting in our dreams,

You held me tight,

Through out the night,

Until the morning light,

Where we parted ways,

But our memory stays.....

A path to lead us to a place,

That beautiful sanctuary,

Filled with grace,

To meet those we recognise,

Those memories, in our minds,

Remembering the pictures,

Of those times,

All those happy moments,

Which have lasted,

Overtime,

A face is graced with a beaming smile,

Some tears of joy,

Smearing a cheek,

That person brings.....

In life we find times when we pause,

It's all about choice,

Your choice,

No right,

No wrong,

Be brave and take that first step,

It it doesn't go as planned,

You learned,

Let your inner instincts guide you,

One day that path will lead to a wonderful thing,

With a smile upon a face,

Hiding the pain,

Within a frame,

That portrait that was portrayed,

Hiding behind the mask,

Identity disguised,

Saying what needs to be said,

In verse and rhyme,

On a path,

In present time,

The movement of hands,

To read the lines of another poet,

It stirred emotions within deep,

To hit a cord,

Not like before,

Really made me think,

To capture the feelings with pen and ink,

On a page in verse and rhyme,

A poem that will last,

For the rest of time,

For the words,

Are still there,

Tattooed in my mind,

To Listen to the heartbeats,

An individual sound,

Combined as one,

Thunder in the clouds,

Heralds the down pour,

Of heavy rain coming down,

Like teardrops flowing,

Staining the ground,

Never forget the lessons of regret,

Have we not learned......

To hold a hand over a border line,

A love separated by a division,

The crime,

Religion,

Tears run dry,

With emotions we try to comprehend the vision,

Of pain and destruction,

The beginning to an ending.......

To hear a song sang,

By a Songbird in the spring,

The meaning of the lyrics,

They meant everything,

Conjuring a smile,

From the emotions that are felt,

Oh angelic voice,

How you have made a heart melt,

Butterfly Meadow

She rested under the willow tree,

The branches low and swinging free,

Catkins drooping overhead,

That is where she rested her weary head,

A ghost of butterfly,

In a meadow where she used to fly,

Watching now the butterflies in the sky,
