Grains of Sand

Grains of sand,
Falling from the hands,
Like a broken hour glass,
Time wasted through the breach,
Will sadly be washed away,

Kindness goes along way

As I walked the streets today I saw an old man on my way,
Sat on the floor of a door way,
A cup at his feet but he did not speak,
Not sat alone a companion beside him,
Together they are there to beg
No home do they have,
So there they stay,
Everyone has a story to tell,
But be kind as you go along your way.

Stag of the Night

A guiding light in the dark of the night,
With drifting clouds floating on the air,
With twinkling stars sharing the sky,
A high land traveller the Monarch of the Glen,
Regal in his right the Stag of the Night.

The little boy made the tune with his little wooden sticks,
Men marched forward,
For death or glory,
As the little drummer boy beat the drums of war,
To herald the call,
Do not let the standard bearer fall....

November Rain

Gusting winds, November rain, Then the snow , Leaves come drifting down, To fall on woodland floors, Carpeting the ground in layers, Where ...
