The emotions fell,

Like a waterfall,

Diving into a pond,

Where memories stirred,

By the current,

For agitated visions,

Rose from depth,

Of the times and places,

Where one drowns in regret.......

Behind The Curtains

Behind the curtains,

One practices ones lines,

For entering the stage of the day,

All ways on time,

Under the rays,

In the spot light one bathed,

But behind the smile,

A heart is breaking,

Of an immortal soul,

With open scars,

That don't seam to heal,

Forever weeping,

As a jester,

One plays one part,

As the matinee of the day ends,

One takes a bow,

As the curtains draw,

One prepares,

Prepares for tomorrow,

With an open heart........ 

A Rhythm It Sings

The beats of the heart,

A rhythm it sings,

Pumping faster when one speaks your name,

Cupids arrow hits a mark,

In the centre of a heart,

A lovers eyes make it weak,

For singing in tune,

Another rhythm is heard,

As it sings,

Answering a song, 

With the same lyrics it has heard,

In harmony the romance begins,

Rolling Clouds

Rolling clouds,

Over shades of green,

With multiple colours of heather,

Mixed within,

With rugged rocks,

Forming formations,

Cairns created in the most unusual places,

With standing stones,

Placed in lines and circles,

With sleeping giants,

On top of Tors,

Moorland streams,

Running their courses,

With rambling ponies,

Flocks of sheep,

Herds of cows,

Who just roam around,

That is what Dartmoor is all about.......

For it's worth everything...........

As the sun goes down,

It's the end of the day,

The memories of today,

Will be remembered one day,

As the imprints made,

Over time will wear away,

But the journey on the path,

The direction taken,

Will never be the same.......

A tree is isolated away,

One sentry,

Guarding a gateway.......
