The Sandy Dunes

The music played and memories returned of the yesterdays,
Dancing on the golden sands under the lunar light,
Tunes and melodies of the past the lyrics that were sung the age they last,
She held his hand and twisted and turned,
A heart singing with the love tune,
Footprints left were the dance had left leading to the sandy dunes,
Were whispers heard from the reed beds from the lovers under the moon,
