To listen to the whispering words,
Muttered quietly barely heard,
Loud enough to be understood,
A tear drop an answer in reply,
Silence,
As one signals goodbye,
End of chapter,
With the closing of a door,
A choice is made,
To be single once more,
A walk alone,
To a pasture new,
