Autumn Fall

Watching the maple leaves of an Autumn Blaze,

A colourful scene of natures way,

The Fall with an artistic flare,

Of vibrant colours of yellow, orange and red,

Fills the canopy over head,

Ancient symbol of love,

Experienced in a daily life,

Of sweetness and joy in a tender kiss,

As fragrance fills the air,

It is a wonderful time of the year.......

A White Feather

A feather fell from the sky,

Pure and white you could not deny,

Falling like an autumn leaf spiralling from a tree,

The feather from an Angel's wing,

A gift from the Devine,

The sign of destiny's timing,

To let you know that you are not alone,

At at this certain time,

For a Guardian Angel is close at hand,

A friendly sentry on look out,

A Murder of Crows

He stood on solid ground,

Holding tight to the line of a kite,

If you love something let it go,

So they say,

Easier said then done except when you are the one struggling to hold on,

A murder of crows gather and circle the plight,

Encouraging one to let the kite fly,

To be carried by the wind far away,

Never to be seen again,

But the memory will stay,

 

At the Entrance of the Hidden Door

Confused, 

Was it dream or was it reality,

Had one found the exit from the labyrinth,

A door to the hidden dimension,

A place where time had been lost,

A person reduced to become a hermit for self- preservation, 

For dignity and salvation,

To endure a personal test of character and strength,

To take a journey of personal growth and development,

Returning to stand on solid ground, 

At the entrance of the hidden door,

To follow a path on a new adventure,

A new life like never before,

Golden Sky

A golden sky followed a darkened day,

For the storm had broken,

On golden sands she stood,

Foot prints imprinted in the dampened sand,

The line of the horizon,

The division of sky and sea,

Waiting for ship to come,

A new life to be,

Her hair blowing gentle in the breeze,

Sweet scent of fragrance carried with ease,

The mystery of tomorrow written in the stars,

This is where she stands the story so far,

Through the cycle of life the sun rose and so did the moon,

The Sandy Dunes

The music played and memories returned of the yesterdays,

Dancing on the golden sands under the lunar light,

Tunes and melodies of the past the lyrics that were sung the age they last,

She held his hand and twisted and turned,

A heart singing with the love tune,

Footprints left were the dance had left leading to the sandy dunes,

Were whispers heard from the reed beds from the lovers under the moon,

The Swarm

To walk in a meadow on a summers day,

Watch the swarm of butterflies fly in an erratic way,

A flightpath taken in an individual line,

The kaleidoscope of colour a rabble of wings,

All of a flutter carried by the wind,

A symbol of life,
